Colleen Wayne (White) Davis

June 18, 1930 – November 11, 1986

Colleen W. Davis, 56, died November 11, 1986.

Born in Hobbs, New Mexico on June 18, 1930, she was the daughter of George Britton and Ida Gertrude Blackwell White. She graduated from Perry high school in 1947.

On July 11, 1953, Colleen and Zacheryer Taylor Davis were married at Houston, Texas. To this union a son and a daughter were born.

She worked as a secretary for the Houston Independent School District and was a member of the Christ Memorial Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Zack T. Davis; son, Sky Davis, both of Houston, Texas; daughter, Brenda Davis of Bryan, Texas; two sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 14, Heights Funeral Chapel with Rev. John D. Fritz officiating. Interment will be at the Woodlawn Garden of Memories. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Arthritis Foundation.
