This Perry high senior hopes to attend the A. & M. branch of college at Okmulgee after graduation. He is Fred Soule, the 18-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Soule, 403 Kaw street. He was born Jan. 3, 1932, in Perry and has received all of his schooling here. Fred has participated in wrestling, football, and basketball with Maroon athletic organizations.

Fred Albert Soule

January 3, 1932 – May 13, 1983

Fred A. Soule, 51, of Littleton, Colorado died Friday, May 13, 1983, in an automobile accident outside Ontario, Ore.

Born in Perry on January 3, 1932, he was the son Francis Everett and Agnes Bernice Carrier Soule. Following his graduation from Perry high school in 1950, he enlisted for a three-year term in the regular Army.

On March 30, 1955, Fred and Peggy A. Deaton were married. They made their home in Wann, Oklahoma, where their son, Michael Martin, was born in 1956. The family moved to Colorado in 1960. The couple divorced in 1976.

Fred worked as a landman.

Survivors include his son, Michael.
