Ken Michael Brand

November 9, 1938 – August 20, 2004

Ken Michael Brand, 65, died Aug. 20, 2004, in Wichita, Kansas.

Born in Perry, Oklahoma on November 9, 1938, he was the son of Sam Mike and Genevia Grace Bishop Brand. He graduated from Perry high in 1958.

On April 17, 1958, Ken and Eugenia “Rachel” Kent, were married. Their first home was in Perry where Ken began working at Charles Machine Works, before enlisting in the Marines. To this union six children were born.

Following the couple’s divorce, Ken married Sandra Lea Wingert and they had two more children.

In addition to Perry, Ken lived in Arkansas and Kansas.

Preceding him in death were: children with his first wife, Jeffery Clark Brand (2003) and daughter, Anna Maria (1992); wife, Sandra (2000); children with Sandra, Samuel Ray Brand (1999) and daughter Regina Lynn Brand (1993).

Survivors are: sons Earl of Wichita, Kansas, Bob of Colorado, and Troy of Colorado; daughter Rachel Smith of Arkansas City, Kansas. Other survivors are: a sister, Beverly Hoskins of Wichita, Kansas; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Private family services pending. Burial will be at the Rogers Cemetery, Rogers, Arkansas.
