– 17, was born Nov. 11, 1941, in Milan, Tennessee to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gunn, route 2, Perry. She plans to enroll at Wichita Business college after graduation from Perry high. She has attended school in Edmond, Duncan, Cement, McAlester, Guthrie, and Perry. School activities include glee club, book club, girls vocal trio, student council secretary-treasurer, Christmas vespers, Teen Town council, Red Hots, senior play, homeroom secretary and office staff. Bookkeeping is her favorite subject.

Birdie Faye (Gunn) Terrell

November 11 1941 – August 15, 1979

Birdie Faye (Gunn) Terrell, 37, Crescent, formerly of Perry, died Wednesday from injuries received in a two-vehicle accident at a far northwest Oklahoma City intersection.

Born at Milan, Tennessee on Nov. 11, 1941, she was the daughter of Carl Birdie and Alma Frost Ethridge Gunn. She moved with her family to the Perry community in 1957. Following graduation from Perry high school in 1959 she earned a business degree from Wichita Business college and attended Bethany Nazarene College.

On July 3, 1965, she and Jerry Cuba Terrell were married in Oklahoma City. They were blessed with two children. They divorced.

At the time of her death she was employed at Northwest Anesthesia, Inc. of Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

Survivors include one daughter, Darci Terrell, of the home at 511 North Buchanan, Crescent; one son, John Terrell, also of the home; her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Gunn, Stillwater; two brothers, Gordon Gunn, Ada; and Truman Gunn, 1200 Pecan, Perry; two sisters, Lora Berry, McLoud; and Jackie Bounds, Crescent.

Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Abernathy Funeral home at Crescent, Oklahoma. Rev. Allen Dean will officiate. Burial will be at Gracelawn cemetery at Edmond.
