Roberta Ann (Elliott) McColloch

January 28, 1936 – December 11, 2021

Roberta McCulloch passed away on Dec. 11, 2021.

Born in Orlando, Oklahoma, on Jan. 28, 1936, she was the daughter of Gilbert “Forrest” and Georgianna Elliott. Following her graduation from Perry high school in 1954, she attended Oklahoma A. & M. for a year then Oklahoma University.

She married Kenneth McCulloch on Aug. 18, 1957. She earned a degree in business and she and Ken moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. There, she was a homemaker and mother.

Roberta enjoyed playing golf in the summer and curling in the winter. In 1972, she, along with her family, moved to Arizona. She attended and sang in the choir at Camelback Presbyterian Church for many years. She enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Mexico and San Diego.

Roberta eventually attended Arizona State University and earned a Master’s degree in counseling. She then worked for the Meadows in Wickenburg where she started as a couselor and retired in 2000 as Director of Counseling.

She enjoyed Scrabble games, playing cards, was an active member in PEO and attended First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg.

Survivors include: her loving husband of 64 years, Kenneth McCulloch; her children, Valerie McCulloch of Phoenix, Sharon (Todd) Peterson of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, Greig (Marti) McCulloch of Houston; and two grandsons, Tyler Peterson of Madison, Wisconsin, and Kadin Peterson of St. Paul, Minnesota.
