Donna Gayle Marshall plans to enter college at Oklahoma A. & M., Stillwater, following graduation from high school. She is the 17-year-old daughter of Mrs. Willie O. Pricer, 102 Birch street, and was born July 23, 1936, in Perry. She attended grade school in Perry and Oklahoma City. Donna was a member of the band 1951-54.

Donna Gayle (Marshall) Munger

Donna Gayle Munger, 82, of Lakewood, Colorado died September 19, 2018.

Born at the family farm in Perry, Oklahoma on July 23, 1936, she was the daughter of Edgar William and Mabel Alta (Pricer) Marshall. She graduated from Perry High School in 1954, then attended two years schooling at Oklahoma University.

She and fellow PHS alumnus, George Marvin Munger, were married on December 2, 1955. They had four children, who were the highlight of their life. Then came two granddaughters, which enriched her life even further. In 1969 the family took a vacation to Colorado and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains so much that they relocated.

Donna enjoyed playing the piano, embroidery and quilting, watching birds and rabbits in her yard. She loved watching her kids and grandkids play sports, she had never missed a game. Donna enjoyed gardening and taught many people how to grow and can their own vegetables. Donna loved animals, but especially cats.

Preceding her in death were: her husband, George, of 59 years; and her beloved parents.

Survivors include: her children, Bill Munger, Carol Munger, Shy (Marilyn) Munger, Mary (Kris Willert) Munger; grandchildren, Kerry Oxford Munger, Jennifer Morris, Jeff Munger; brother Armon Marshall; and two great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be Wed. Sept. 26, 2018 at 12:30 p.m., Golden Cemetery, Golden, Colorado.
