Linda Kay Lowry has been in the pep club since 1965; cheerleader 1967-68; GRA 1965-66, and on the senior play committee. She is the daughter of Mrs. Thelmalene Lowry, 714 Grove street and was born Aug. 21, 1950. Horseback riding is her hobby and psychology is her favorite subject. Her plans after graduation are indefinite.
Linda Kay (Lowry) Watson

Linda K. Watson was called home to join her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Born on August 21, 1950, in Perry, OK., she was the daughter of the late Eugene Lowry and Thelmaline (Boone). Linda was the youngest of 5 children. She attended the Perry Public School system. Following graduation from Perry High school in 1968, she attended the Enid School of Business where she earned her booking/accounting certificate. Linda used this training to have a 40-year career with the Farmer’s Cooperative Exchange in Perry.
Linda married her first husband, Wilbur Dowell and a daughter, Gayla Leigh Dowell was their only child. Wilbur passed away after an oilfield accident and a lengthy illness.
In 1986 Linda and Dudley Watson were married and had a happy and wonderful marriage. In 2010 Linda and Dudley relocated to Tenkiller Lake to finish out their loves. In 2015 Linda was diagnosed with cancer and has put up a valiant fight with the disease until her passing.
Linda favorite hobbies were gardening, especially loved her group of Japanese Maples, she also enjoyed fishing and eating out.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbur Dowell.
Survivors include her daughter, Gayla Huston and husband Ned, multiple grand kids and great grandkids, Her loving and caring husband of the home, Dudley Watson.
Graveside services will be 1PM, Friday, December 5, 2025, at Tahlequah City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society in Linda’s name.
