Central State college will be the next stop for Greg Allen Vorndran, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory C. Vorndran, 302 Kaw street. He was born December 10, 1950, in Perry. At PHS he has been a member of the football, wrestling, and track squads, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He also was on the senior play properties committee. Vorndran’s favorite subject has been psychology, and hobbies are hunting and fishing.

Gregory Allen Vorndran “Zero,” age 74, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Born December 10, 1950, in Perry, Oklahoma, he was the son of Gregory C. and Florence B. (Ryerson) Vorndran. Greg graduated in the Class of 1969 from Perry High School and served in the National Guard for four years. He worked at Charles Machine Works for fifty plus years.

Greg was blessed with two wonderful sons, Trent Allen Vorndran, and Brock Troy Vorndran. He enjoyed coaching his boys, watching them wrestle and playing baseball.

Greg was an avid fisherman, and hunter, and played darts on Sunday. He was also an OU die-hard fan. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play softball and baseball and showing pigs.

Survivors include: his son, Brock Vorndran and wife Hillary; two grandchildren, Baylee Stephens and husband Clayton, and Hunter Vorndran; one great-grandchild, Ruby Stephens, and his special companion, Mary Deken.

Preceding him in death were; his parents, Gregory and Florence Vorndran; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Terri Vorndran; and son, Trent Allen Vorndran.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, Trout Funeral Home Chapel of Perry. Burial will following at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Perry, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Perry Take Down Club, or Perry Diamond Club.
