After graduation from PHS, Donna Kay Barker plans to attend a business school. Her favorite subject has been typing in high school. She is the 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Barker, and was born July 18, 1945, in Guthrie. She moved to Perry in 1955, and is a member of the Methodist church. The family lives at 30 Highland drive. She attended school at Mulhall 1951-52 and at Guthrie 1952-55. Miss Barker was in her junior class play, and has been in the band since 1959.

Donna “Kay” Barker Stotts passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the age of 80.
Born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, on July 18, 1945, she was the daughter of Fritz and Vera Barker. The family moved to Perry when Kay was 10. She graduated from Perry High School in 1963.
In 1965, she and her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Stotts, were married. They enjoyed 60 wonderful years of marriage.
She enjoyed traveling and achieved her goal of visiting all fifty states. In addition to the states, she also visited many countries, including Great Britain, France, Italy, and Panama. She especially loved cruises; she always had a passion for the water and the sea.
Kay’s other hobbies included reading and spending time outdoors. She was a nature lover and took care of many animals.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Stotts, of Edmond, Oklahoma; sister Suzy DesPres of Venice, Florida; daughters Stacey Allen and Ashley Stotts, and son Ryan Stotts, all of Edmond, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
