After graduating from PHS, David Wayne Lemon plans to attend Southwest Technical Institute in Oklahoma City. He was born June 15, 1948, in Perry, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lemon. He was been a member of the Maroon wrestling squad since 1962. Lemon’s favorite subject has been Problems of American Democracy and hobbies are swimming and hunting.
David Wayne Lemon

Funeral for David Wayne Lemon was at 10 a.m. Saturday at Parker chapel. Officiating was Rev. Tom Kirby, pastor of the First United Methodist church. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery.
Autopsy was performed in Oklahoma City Friday. The state medical examiner reported to local officers a bullet had entered the forehead at close contact. A bullet was recovered in the autopsy. State examiner’s report also agreed death probably occurred Tuesday afternoon. This was within the time estimated by Dr. C. H. Cooke, Noble county medical examiner.
Lemon’s body was found at approximately 7:30 p.m. Thursday lying across a bed in his home at 422 1/2 Fir Avenue. A gun, a .22 caliber pistol, was lying near the body. The preliminary report from the state medical examiner indicated the wound probably had been self-inflicted.
Son, brother, uncle, nephew, husband and father of two children, David and Amy Lemon.
