Jamee Le Cowell is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. LeRoy Cowell, route 1, Perry. She was born April 13, 1948 in Perry. She attended classes at Christ Lutheran school and at Oakdale Center. She has been active in Red Hots since 1962, Annual staff 1964-66, FTA 1965, FHA 1965, Maroon Banner society editor 1966, homeroom treasurer 1965, junior play student director 1965, senior play student director 1966. She will be enrolled at the Blackwell General hospital school of nursing. English is her favorite subject and cooking is a favorite hobby.

Jamee Le (Cowell) Clapper

Jamee (Cowell) Clapper, age 77, of Perry, Oklahoma, passed away on March 25, 2026, at Green Valley Nursing Home in Perry, Oklahoma.

Born on April 13, 1948, in Enid, OK, she was the daughter of Walter LeRoy and Beverly (Ballew) Cowell. She graduated from Perry high school in 1966.

Jamee was passionate about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved music and writing.

Survivors include her daughters, Abby Manley of Perry, Amy Blankinship of Mt Carmel, TN, and Amanda Clapper of Mannford; her son, Clint Smith of Bixby, and Ross Clapper of Tulsa.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Beverly and LeRoy Cowell; her sister, Clare Fulk; and her grandparents, James and Wahneta Ballew.
