Vicki Sue Vollmer, 18, is the daughter of Bill Vollmer, 1305 1/2 Cedar street, and Mrs. Sue Vollmer, 1108 Thirteenth street. She attended first and second grades at Laverne elementary school at Laverne, and grades three, four and five at Oak Park elementary school at Woodward. She has participated in band, the Perry chapter of Future Homemakers of America and track. Her favorite class is dental assistant training. She is a member of the First Christian church. Miss Vollmer was born December 1, 1961.

Vicki Sue Vollmer Simon was born December 1, 1961, in Buffalo, Oklahoma. She passed from this life October 8, 2025, in Tulsa at the young age of 63.

She graduated from Perry High School in 1980 and that same year, on September 19th she married Bernard “Alan” Simon II. She graduated nursing school in 1995 as an LPN from MetroTech in Oklahoma City. She worked in various hospitals, nursing homes, and later home health care retiring in 2017. She resided in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Vicki was popular with her patients and respected by her colleagues.

In her spare time, Vicki loved to garden, read, cook, and watch reality television. She loved her dogs.

She is survived by her son, Bernard Alan Simon III of Sand Springs, brothers Randy Vollmer and wife Brenda (Perry), Rodney Vollmer and wife Courtney, ( Stillwater), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vicki was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bernard Alan Simon II; her mother, Laveda Sue Wentz Vollmer Robbins; and her father Billy Ray Vollmer.

A celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 pm Friday November 14, 2025, at Life 180 Church in Perry.
