Edward Quine Brengle

December 30, 1891 – July 30, 1976

Funeral arrangements were pending Saturday at Parker Funeral home for Edward Quine Brengle, 84, 803 Kaw street, who died at 2 p.m. Friday at Western State hospital at Fort Supply.

Brengle was born Dec. 30, 1891, at Bluffs, Ill., and came to Perry in 1895. He had been a member of the National Guard Battery C, 158th Field Artillery and was a World War I veteran. He was a charter member of the Ellis-Jirous American Legion post.

Brengle was a retired postal service employe. He was married June 3, 1917, at Springdale, Kan., to the former Letha Davis, who survives.

In addition to his wife, of the home in Perry, survivors include three sons, Quine Jr., Garden City, Mich.; Donald, Dover, Del.; and Kenneth, Cortez, Colo.; and a brother, Dan, Perry.
