Stella Omega (LeFurgey) Pricer

September 19, 1916 – March 8, 2000

Stella O. Pricer, 83, died at 1:10 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2000 at Perry Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Pricer was born September 19, 1916 in Cushing, the daughter of Charles William and Margaret Ellen (Anglemeyer) LeFurgey. She attended business college in Oklahoma City.

She was married July 2, 1934 in Perry to Wilbur “Kid” Pricer. She worked at Stanislav Grocery, Auto Eat Cafe, and in the Oklahoma County Clerk’s office.

She was a member of the First Christian Church, Rebekah Lodge, Modern Woodman Association of America and the Oklahoma Women’s Bowling Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, two granddaughters and one grandson.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law: Ellen Wilkerson, Perry and Texas, Jo and Bruce Bronn, Claremore, and Darlene and Bill Platt, Perry; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Gina Pricer, Kansas City, MO; seven grandsons; five granddaughters; eight great grandsons; six great granddaughters; two sisters-in-law, Marge LeFurgey and Martha Taylor; two nephews, Billy LeFurgey, Houston, TX, and Allen LeFurgey, Florida; and a niece, Becky LeFurgey, Victoria, TX.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2000 in the chapel of Brown-Sisson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Grace Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to benefit the First Christian Church or Parkinson’s Disease research.
