Minnie Eleanor “Ella” (Bechtold) Bobbitt

December 18, 1890 – January 3, 1976

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday for Mrs. Ella Bobbitt, 85, 727 Elm street, who died at 7:55 p.m. Saturday at Perry Memorial hospital. Mrs. Bobbitt was taken to Perry Memorial Friday night by fire department ambulance from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Calvin Kelley, 1010 Jackson street.

Rev. Don Harnden, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will officiate at services at Parker Funeral chapel. Burial will be at Grace Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Bobbitt was born Dec. 18, 1890, at Everest, Kan., and came to Noble county in 1900. She was a 1911 graduate of Perry high school. She was married April 13, 1919, at Perry to Clifford T. Bobbitt, who preceded her in death in 1963.

Mrs. Bobbitt was active in work at the Bobbitt Grocery store in Perry from 1938 until 1955. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and the Sand Springs chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Carol Ritthaler, Elk City; Mrs. Pauline Goad, Oklahoma City; and Mrs. Calvin (Marian) Kelley, Perry; a son, Charles Bobbitt, Dewey; a brother, Paul Bechtold, Atchison, Kan.; and 10 grandchildren.
