Thomas Henry Divine
July 10, 1914 – June 3, 1976
Thomas Henry Divine, 61, Guthrie, formerly of Perry, died unexpectedly at 1 p.m. Thursday at Logan county Memorial hospital at Guthrie.
Rev. Jack Divine, Danville, Ill., formerly of Perry, a nephew of the deceased, will officiate at services at Parker Funeral chapel. Burial will be at Grace Hill cemetery.
Divine was born July 10, 1914 at Fallis, Okla. He was an outstanding athlete in track and wrestling and a 1931 graduate of Perry high school.
He worked in sales of veterinary medicine’ products and was retired.
He and his wife, Lucille, were married Aug. 11, 1962, at Lawrence, Kan.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Tim Cullum and Miss Debra Divine, both of Dallas, Tex.; four brothers, John Divine, 924 Elm street; Jim, Cushing; Charlie, Odessa, Tex.; and Lois, Corsicana, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Donohoo, Ponca City; and Mrs. Gladys Neuerburg, Garden City, Kan.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
