Virginia “Anna” (Mugler) Krisher

May 15, 1900 – June 17, 1984

Mrs. Anna Krisher, 84, long-time local area resident who had been making her home at Green Valley Nursing center, died at 8 a.m. Sunday at Perry Memorial hospital where she had been a patient since June 13.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Parker chapel. In charge will be Dr. Charles Sapp and burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery under direction of Parker Funeral home. The casket will be closed at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the Methodist church choir robe fund.

She was born May 15, 1900, at Orlando to Fred and Katie Mugler. A 1918 graduate of Perry high school, she attended Chilocothe Business college. She was married April 13, 1935, in Perry to Russell Krisher, who preceded her in death in 1967. She had worked as a bookkeeper from 1930-40 at Noble County Motor Co. and was employed by Estes Brothers Clothing, Tulsa, from 1940-67. She later returned to Perry.

A member of the United Methodist church, she had been a member of the Rebekah and Royal Neighbors lodges.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Martha Magee, Perry, and Mrs. Floyd (Edna) Laird, Santa Rosa, Calif.; and one brother, Bill Mugler, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
