Irvin Ralph Passow

August 27, 1909 – May 19, 1985

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran church for Irvin Passow, 1414 Jackson street, 75, who died at 10:15 p.m. Sunday at Perry Memorial hospital where he was taken a short time before for treatment of illness.

Officiating will be Rev. Myron Maltz, pastor, and burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery under direction of Parker-Brown Funeral home. A memorial has been established for Christ Lutheran church.

Passow was born Aug. 27, 1909, at Penn, N.D., to William and Ida Passow. He came to Perry community in 1920, was a graduate of Perry high school and attended Oklahoma State university. He was married July 20,1933, in Perry to Edna Hirschman, who survives. Passow was a retired farmer and Mobil products bulk agent. He was a member of Christ Lutheran church.

Survivors other than his wife of the home include one daughter, Mrs. Gene (Virginia) Hentges, Perry; one son, Ralph Passow, Perry; four brothers, Earl Passow, San Clemente, Calif.; James Passow, Hollywood, Calif.; Victor Passow, Topeka, Kan.; and Dr. Norman Passow, Perry; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
