Gilbert “Forrest” Elliott
November 22, 1910 – March 2, 1977
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian church for Forrest Elliott, 66, Stillwater, formerly of Perry, who was killed last Wednesday in a traffic accident five miles east of Conway, Texas. Services will be in charge of Rev. Don Harnden, pastor of the Presbyterian church, and burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery under direction of Parker Funeral home.
Elliott was born Nov. 22, 1910 in Perry. He was married to Georgianna Jackson of Perry.
Elliott was affiliated with his late father, W. P. Elliott, and his brothers, W. P. Elliott Jr., and Bob Elliott, in oil field and highway construction for many years.
In 1972 the Elliotts moved to Stillwater where he was engaged in auto sales. They lived at 1311 E. Willham in Stillwater.
Besides his wife, he is survived by daughters, Roberta McCullough, Wickenburg, AZ and Karen Grim of Perry; two sons, Glen and Gene Elliott, both of Perry; one brother, Bob Elliott of Oklahoma City, and five grandchildren.
