Ralph Edward Mossman

June 5, 1902 – August 12, 1977

Funeral has been set for 10 a.m. Monday at Christ Lutheran church for Ralph Edward Mossman, 1306 Fir avenue, who died at 10:30 a.m. Friday at his home.

Rev. Walter J. Wehmeier, pastor, will officiate and burial will be at Grace Hill cemetery under direction of Parker Funeral home.

Casket bearers will be Charles Wolleson, Kenneth Coldiron, Les Burke, Harvey Junkens, Ralph Hanyka and Bill Farris. Honorary bearers were Osborn Hvobol, 0. L. Shaw and John Clark.

Mossman, the son of Edward Hugh Mossman and the former Gladys Mayfield, was born June 5, 1902, in Perry. He was a 1921 graduate of Perry high school and had been a barber in the Perry community until he retired in 1971. He and Gertrude Overstreet were married July 16, 1924, at Guthrie. Mossman was a member of Christ Lutheran church.

In addition to his wife, of the home, survivors are a son, Jack, of Tustin, Calif.; and a brother, Hubert, Perry.

The family has suggested memorial donations to the Christ Lutheran church memorial fund or the cancer fund.
