Floyd Sterling Pratt

March 31, 1920 – April 16, 1976

Floyd “Snick” Pratt, 56, a former member of the Perry high school wrestling team, died April 16, 1976 at his home at Pasadena Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria, of the home; two sons, Tony, of the home; and Michael, Oklahoma City; a brother, Bill, Borger, Tex.; five sisters, Mrs. Peggy Wheeler, Calhan, Colo.; Miss Catherine Pratt, Whittier, Calif.; Mrs. Pat Pyle, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Judy, Phillippe, Liberal, Kan.; and Mrs. Joan Harris, Dallas, Tex.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pratt was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Pratt. He was a 1937 graduate of Perry high school. In addition to wrestling with the Perry high school team, he was a former member of the mat team at the University of Oklahoma. He held the rank of major and was a battalian executive officer, anti-aircraft, in the European Theatre during World War II. He was vice president of marketing with Kindler and Laucci, Insurance Brokers, of Los Angeles.
