Flossie Mae (Frazier) Elkin

November 3, 1915 – July 28, 1976

Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Strode Funeral chapel at Stillwater for Mrs. Flossie Mae Elkin, 60, Sacramento, Calif., sister of a Perry man, who died Wednesday at Stillwater Municipal hospital.

Rev. Frank Tepe will officiate at services. Burial will be at Fairlawn cemetery under direction of Strode Funeral home.

Mrs. Elkin was in Stillwater staying with her sister, Mrs. Marguerite Albin.

Born Nov. 3, 1915, near Eddie, Okla., (now Tonkawa), she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Frazier. She was a 1932 graduate of Perry high school and attended Oklahoma State university at Stillwater and Phillips university at Enid. She and E.S.N. Elkin were married Dec. 18, 1945, at Flagstaff, Ariz.

She had been a civil service employee for a number of years. She had lived in Stillwater and Mobile, Ala., before moving to Sacramento in 1965. She had been employed at McClellan Air Force base at Sacramento.

In addition to her sister at Stillwater, survivors include four brothers, W. Don Frazier and Phillip Frazier, both of Stillwater; Rayborn Frazier, Perry; and Floyd Frazier, Edmond.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1961.
