Amel LeTellier

– son of Mr. and Mrs. P. E. LeTellier, was born in Scott county, Ark. He has attended only the Perry schools, where he is a member of the F.F.A. club. He plan on being in the Rest Estate business.

Amel Loren LeTellier

May 30, 1917 – December 6, 1999

Amel Loren LeTellier, 82, died at Fremont Medical Center in Yuba City, CA on December 6, 1999.

The son of Prosper Emile and Rose Mae (Ames) LeTellier, he was born May 30, 1917 in Waldron, Arkansas. He graduated from Perry High School in 1938.

He was a retired maintenance mechanic for Briggs Lemon Association, and was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He was a member of Laurel Lodge #13 F&AM of Roseburg, OR, the Roseburg Moose Lodge, and the American Legion. He had lived for 27 years in Santa Paula, CA.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Marie LeTellier; a son, Leonard LeTellier of Yuba City; two daughters, JoAnn Self of Three Rivers, and Janise O’Patchen of Yuba City; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Interment will be at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo, CA.
