Jerry J. Feken plans to enter the Oklahoma A. & M. technical school at Okmulgee after graduation from Perry high. He is the 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Feken, Perry. Born Sept. 2, 1938, in Lucien, Feken has attended Happy Hill and Oakdale Center rural schools. He has been active in the Perry Future Farmers of America chapter, serving as sentinel and treasurer.

Jerry Jerome Feken, 58, former local resident, died Thursday, May 8, 1997, at his home in Moore.
Born at Lucien, Sept. 2, 1938, he was the son of Herman and Olva Feken. He attended Happy Hill and Oakdale rural schools and was a 1956 graduate of Perry high school. He attended OSU Tech at Okmulgee and graduated with a degree in diesel mechanics.
Feken and Jeanette Green were married on Aug. 5, 1957. He had lived in Lubbock, TX, prior to transferring to Trans-Con Trucking of Oklahoma City, where he worked until his retirement.
He was a member and elder of Central Church of Christ of Moore and was a member of the Sooner Model A club.
In addition to his wife, of the home survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Sandra, of North Carolina; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Jeff Partin, Tulsa, and Sondra and Chris Perkins, of Tennessee; his parents, Herman and Olva Feken, route one, Perry; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Margaret and Larry Snyder, Prague; his mother-in-law, Juanita Green, Henryetta; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paulette and Norman Rogers, Kay and Perry Berryhill, James and Sue Green anti Dean and Jan Green.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Charles E. Green, and a brother-in-law, Charles R. Green.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Central Church of Christ at 411 Southwest Fourth street in Moore. Graveside rites will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Polo cemetery, north of Perry.
