2024 Honor Roll Banquet and Fundraiser

The Perry High School Alumni Association has started planning for its annual Honor Roll Banquet and Fundraiser scheduled for Sept. 13.

The PHSAA honors a group of outstanding alumni of Perry High School at the banquet each year.

June 1 is the deadline for nominating a PHS alumnus for the Honor Roll. Nomination forms are available online at PerryOkAlumni.com, by email at PerryOkAlumni@att.net, or at the Alumni Building, 606 Cedar.

The catered banquet also gives alumni an opportunity to socialize and catch up with old friends. Funds from the banquet go into the scholarship fund for PHS seniors as they further their education at any postgraduate institution, including colleges, technical schools, and career and vocational schools.

The banquet also offers the honorees an occasion to tell their story along with memories of their teachers, coaches and classmates at PHS.

Congratulations to the 2023 PHS Alumni Association, Inc. scholarship recipients!

In May, your PHS Alumni Association presented 22 graduating PHS seniors with $2,000 scholarships. The winners included Aubrey Allen, Marissa Bevins, Hannah Browne, Daemion Culver, Gavin Duke, Alyssa Goldsberry, Nathan Graham, Rylee Grimes, Kadence Kienholz, Alexis Leger, Corbin Lewellen, Makeda McPherson, Madysen Mills, Preslei Miner, Kelsey Mitchell, Kaleb Owen, Angel Tiscareno, Lyndey Wilda, and Dezmond Williams. Receiving Memorial Scholarships were Maebry Shields – Dr. Linda Powers; Leslee Richardson – Thelma Brown/ Ethel Knox for aspiring educators, and Isabelle Stoops – Henry Knight for engineering.

Students graduating from Perry High School with plans to further their education are invited to apply for the scholarships. Their parents or guardians do not have to be a graduate from Perry High School.

Many former Perry High School graduates donate to the scholarship funds with the Perry High School Alumni Association during the Alumni Banquet in September or anytime during the year.
